We love everything Recruitment and we absolutely love building long term relationships that last for a life time. We live and breathe our mission which is Hire to Retire – staying with the candidate and client throughout the life cycle of work (this includes the ups and downs!).
We meet so many interesting and inspirational people, both candidates and clients and it is an absolute pleasure to be a part of their journey.
We wanted to share a recent recruitment campaign with one of our fantastic clients – Bath University. Over the past 2 years we have organically built our relationship with Bath University. Being local to us and, well a connection for me personally of having superb sports facilities on campus and not to mention Team GB, what’s not to enjoy about learning more about them. Also not to mention this strange time we are experiencing and the importance of science and those studies in the fight against Covid-19 which Bath University play a vital part in.
Introducing Samantha – A fantastic candidate looking for her next career move.
I will never forget it, we met in a quirky little café in Bath and I got a parking ticket, but that’s another story!!!
Certainly an icebreaker between me and Samantha, we hit it off straight away.
We spoke about her home country, Holland, her studies and her current situation, oh and her love of football.
As I always say, building relationships is the key to our success. Match making for businesses!!
I knew from that meeting, Samantha could be the perfect match for Bath University. And that is how it all began so let’s see what Samantha thought………
Over to you Sam.
How did you feel in your first 3 months?
I felt very excited and very welcomed in the team. Loads to learn but very excited to do so.
How do you feel now?
Pretty much the same although now I can give more advice to my stakeholders with regards to advertising and recruitment which is great. The relationship is growing, and I like the personal touch to it.
What are your highlights so far at Bath University?
The people are so friendly here. I feel super supported and have a great team to work with. My highlights are mainly related to the new employees or people I helped becoming an employee at the university. It’s great to be part of recruitment team and welcome new employees and make them feel welcome.
What does a typical day look like for you?
There is no typical day – ha-ha! It varies every day. Mainly we support and advise with recruitment which is extremely rewarding.
What would you like to achieve in your next 12 months?
I would like to be completely settled in the job. Using new reports and other tools to create more in depth and specialised advise with regards to recruitment indifferent areas.
How would you describe your experience with H2R Selection and your journey?
The whole recruitment process was very pleasant, friendly, personal, and professional. I even received a bottle of prosecco to celebrate my new job. I am forever grateful for that they have done for me and would highly recommend them to any business and candidates looking for new opportunities.
