Charity Cake Sale
Every year H2R Selection chooses a charity of choice to support, however, this year we decided to support not just 1 but 2 charities; Marmalade Trust and Children’s Hospice South West. Currently we are supporting the Marmalade Trust, the only charity dedicated to raising awareness of loneliness and empowering people to make connections. The work they do is truly impactful and we are proud to be supporting them.
Last Monday we held a charity bake sale in our office (Broad Quay House), the whole team got involved to help bake up a storm and thanks to the team contribution we had an amazing variety of cakes; Marmalade cake, Cupcakes (chocolate and vanilla), Cornflake Cakes, Fairy Cakes, Vegan Carrot Cake, Gluten Free Lemon Cake, Date and Walnut Cake, Classic Chocolate Cake and Upside Down Banana Bread.
Over the course of two days, we were able to raise just over £140 for the Marmalade Trust, which we are really excited about. Also, earlier this year we held a HR Workshop and donated the full ticket price to the Marmalade Trust which means the current amount we have raised is £640. We are hoping to hit a target of £1000 and have lots of exciting events coming up to help us reach this target.
